Is the US Government too incompetent to properly investigate the September 11th attack?

We were told that a Boeing 757 crashed into the Pentagon, but only one tiny engine and cowling was found, along with a few other tiny scraps, which is evidence of a much smaller aircraft.

This book has the photos and the analysis to show that the official story about 9-11 conflicts with the evidence almost as much as the stories of unicorns [being real]. Is our government incompetent?

Or are they hiding something from us?
